Al Dahrha Agriculture
Recently Genap finished the water storage project in Al Dahra in the United Arabic Emirates.
Commissioned by Westlandse Project Combinatie (WPC BV), Genap installed a bottom liner and a fully closed floating cover on a water reservoir, perfectly excavated and supervised by Van Daalen from Maasdijk.
Because of the extreme local circumstances, like the high temperature and even more higher UV impact, we advised our client to use a floating cover material which could deal with the high demands of this region. Our choice was to install a re-inforced, green coloured liner material which was prefabricated in our factory in ‘s-Heerenberg.
From the Netherlands the prefabricated liner sheets were shipped to the site. On site our technicians installed the liner sheets in less than 5 working days.
